Brand Lead – PH

The Brand Lead is responsible for the end-to-end performance of the brand group. He/she will lead a team of brand managers and store operators in daily operations to deliver brand growth and performance metrics across e-commerce platforms. 
 

He/she will also directly partner with the Unit Director to identify opportunities, develop business strategies, and optimize internal processes. 
 

To be successful as a Brand lead in a rapidly growing e-commerce start-up, he/she must have proven experience in building brands on e-commerce, with strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. He/she must have strong leadership and communication skills to mentor his/her team. He/she must also have strong interpersonal skills to build trusted relationships with key external partners. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and build a high-performing team to achieve brand business objectives  

  • Build, manage and develop long-term relationships with key stakeholders (internal cross functional teams, brands, marketplace and social platform) in order to achieve business objectives by increasing the brand’s online presence. 

  • Lead and negotiate annual agreements with ecommerce partners. 

  • Develop plan, KPI and Goals to achieve for each ecommerce partner. 

  • Define and implement Go to Market strategy with cross functional internal teams (marketing, operations, customer service). 

  • Identify new ecommerce trends and opportunities for business growth and implement action plans. 

  • Analyze and interpret brand’s performance and consumer behavior to identify strengths, weaknesses and business opportunities. 

  • Regular communication with key stakeholders to understand their needs and explain value proposition. 

  • Keep accurate records pertaining to inventory and account notes. 

  • Ensure seamless operations of their brand portfolio.  

  • Identify industry trends and competitive market insights. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or related field. 

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial or category management in e-commerce 

  • Strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills 

  • Ability to manage complex projects with attention to detail 

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills and ability to train and develop team members 

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask 

  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients and industry contacts 

  • Ability to manage both internal and customer relationships 

  • Up to date on industry trends and consumer behaviors and industry trends 

  • Strong data analytics background 

  • Leadership maturity 

  • Knowledge in supply chain and operations (inventory management) 

  • Create and implement communication strategies (marketing and livestream comms) 

  • Understanding of online marketing strategies (CPAS, Onsite, SEO, social media)
