Primary role is to identify and engage potential brands for collaboration. This involves researching and targeting brands to bring into the different platforms like Lazada, Shopee, TikTok, and Zalora. You'll establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, emphasizing the unique opportunities these platforms offer for brand visibility and engagement. Your goal is to drive brand partnerships, ensuring successful onboarding and sustained growth within these platforms’ ecosystems. Additionally, you'll analyze market trends, competitor activity, and user behavior to inform strategic approaches in expanding platforms’ brand partnerships.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research to identify potential brands that align with the different platforms’ target audience and market trends.

  • Initiate and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at targeted brands, emphasizing the benefits of the different platforms’ partnerships.

  • Create compelling presentations outlining the unique advantages and opportunities for brands to engage with the platforms’ diverse user base.

  • Collaborate with brands to negotiate terms and conditions for successful partnerships, ensuring a mutually beneficial relationship.

  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new brands, providing necessary guidance and support to ensure a smooth integration onto the different platforms.

  • Work closely with internal commercial team and brands during the onboarding stage to conceptualize and develop effective marketing campaigns tailored to the different platforms’ creative and dynamic environment.

  • Stay updated on trends. Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and user behavior on the different platforms to inform strategies for brand engagement.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including commercial, media, operations, and business intelligence, to ensure seamless execution of brand partnerships and campaigns.

  • Maintain accurate records of brand interactions and negotiations. Generate reports to showcase the impact of brand partnerships on the different platforms.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, brand management, or a related field.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal--to articulate ideas, negotiate deals, and maintain positive relationships with clients and partners.

  • Practical experience in sales or e-commerce is highly valuable. This may include work in sales, marketing, advertising, e-commerce, or related fields where the candidate has been directly involved in business development.

  • Strong sales acumen with a solid understanding of sales principles and techniques is essential for generating leads, converting prospects into customers, and achieving targets.

  • Building and nurturing professional relationships are key aspects. Candidate should be adept at networking to expand the company’s reach and influence within the industry.

  • Analytical abilities is crucial in assessing market trends, identifying potential business opportunities, and making data-driven decisions to contribute to the growth of the company.

  • Adaptability—candidate should be able to adjust strategies, embrace change, and quickly respond to evolving market conditions to stay competitive.

  • Willingness to adhere to a hybrid work setup with a commitment to working onsite at least 4 days per week, and 1 day remotely. Candidates must demonstrate flexibility and reliability in attending the office as required for team collaboration and client meetings.

  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision, effectively managing time and priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The candidate should exhibit strong problem-solving skills and take ownership of tasks and deliverables.

  • Must be a quick learner with the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge and expertise in e-commerce platforms. The candidate should show aptitude for understanding multiple business verticals, including but not limited to commercial, operations, creative/ production, affiliate marketing, and media dynamics. Flexibility and curiosity to explore and integrate these verticals into actionable strategies are essential.

  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic and is willing to extend work hours when necessary to ensure that projects are completed and deadlines are met. The candidate should have a results-driven mindset, showing dedication to delivering high-quality outcomes, even under tight timelines.
