Content Strategist - MY

 
 

As the key person in charge of the content strategy, the Content Strategist oversees and strategize the content pillars and sub pillars for audiences at all stages of the consumer journey. He/she must be familiar with the different types of customer personas the company is targeting.

The Content Strategist collects information, does intensive research and analysis on the consumers’ thoughts and pain points towards the brand. Armed with this information, a Content Strategist then develops the brand’s content strategy to engage and convert new and existing audiences. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • In charge of content strategy & planning of content calendar for brands on social platforms (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram...), including Short Videos, Livestreaming, Creators, KOLs etc 

  • Responsible for working closely with Head of Commercial and Head of Marketing on overall alignment of creative strategy and direction for brand. And able to do social and content pitching. 

  • Develop and execute social media campaigns of varying scopes with clearly defined KPIs (e.g. product launches, rebrands, awareness campaigns, contests, etc.) that are integrated with the brand’s overall marketing campaign plan. 

  • Build, implement, and publish a social media content calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns. 

  • Monitor and identify opportunities to enhance content performance. 

  • Work with creative team to create new ideas, direct creative to translate social trends / ideas into practical concept and social posts. 

  • Lead the creation and/or curation of relevant, original, high-quality content (for all channels and ads), including text, image, and video to reach the brand’s target customers. 

  • Co-lead with Production in video / photo shoots and responsible for outcome quality. 

  • Work closely with Producer to ensure timely and quality delivery of content planned. 

  • Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns with quantitative data to maximize results and provide recommendations to improve social media strategies and campaigns. 

  • In-charge of community management on FB, IG, TT by replying comments, inbox. 

  • Keep up to date with the social trends to adapt quickly for brands. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher. 

  • Experience in the beauty / FMCG industry/ agency is a plus. 

  • Excellent working knowledge and having at least 5 years of experience in content/ digital marketing/ advertising and preferably experience in social media marketing. 

  • High levels of accuracy ensuring the above standards of quality of all marketing and communication materials. 

  • Experienced in project management. 

  • Sharp critical thinking, problem-solving skills with strong communication and negotiation skills; able to break boundaries and execute to the last mile. 

  • Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills 

  • Ability to build rapport and collaborate with both internal and external teams / stakeholders
