Demand & Supply Operations Planner - TH

 
 

The Demand & Supply Chain Operations Planner is responsible for ensuring optimal stock availability across distribution channels to provide a positive customer experience and maximize sales opportunities. He/she will lead the planning and operations process from end-to-end including Demand Forecasting, Inventory Management, Stock Replenishment, Stock Allocation, Order and Back-order Management, Inbound and Outbound Management, and being a point of contact among commercial team, customers and warehouse service provider. To succeed in this role, he/she must be able to analyze and monitor data, find creative solutions, and effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develops demand plans, safety stock, coverage month, ABC classification, and optimal turn rate for multiple time horizons and distribution channels

  • Reviews historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results based on sales, inventory and other data

  • Maintains forecast accuracy by collaborating with the cross-functional team to gather the updated sales and marketing information, especially for events that significantly affect demand such as promotions and supplier stock issues

  • Plans, monitors, manages, and coordinates all activities related to the stock fulfilment and stock allocation with mass data among fast-paced environment to meet the changing levels of product demand

  • Leads replenishment planning to ensure that inventory is in the right quantities and assortment across various locations to meet the demand

  • Well communicates, collaborates, and leads meeting with commercial team and customers as big reputative cosmetics & skincare brand partners to ensure timely replenishment and right demand volume with reducing back orders to zero, considering the different ordering processes for each brand

  • Good coordinates and follow-ups with warehouse service provider to ensure that all orders are shipped-out and delivered to end customers smoothly and on-time

  • Runs analysis reports and conducts monthly reviews to communicate forecast and inventory estimations, report on forecast and inventory accuracy, and propose improvement solutions

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in supply chain field, or a related field in online/e-commerce industry

  • Bachelor’s degree • Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge

  • Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures

  • Capability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to conduct detailed procedures and monitor & manage mass data with a good level of execution

  • Strong sense of time organization and urgency

  • Detail and process oriented

  • Able to work independently and within a team

  • Well and clear communication among commercial team, customers as brand partners, and warehouse service provider with good following-up skill• Strategic and critical thinker

  • Thai & English (Strong communication skill, both oral and written)

  • Skills Computer: MS. Office i.e. Excel -PIVOT, Vlookup, Power Point
