Role Overview:
As the Head Social Commerce, you will be responsible for setting the vision, developing strategies, and overseeing execution across all marketing functions. You will lead a cross-functional team of social commerce experts and work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver integrated marketing solutions that drive growth, engagement, and conversion for our brand partners.
You must possess a deep understanding of social media, influencer marketing, content production, and performance media, with a proven track record in managing teams, scaling marketing capabilities, and delivering results in a fast-paced ecommerce environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership
Develop and lead the overall marketing strategy for the Social Commerce division aligned with business and client objectives.
Drive innovation in social commerce solutions, with a deep understanding of TikTok-led and creator-driven commerce models.
Lead cross-functional strategic planning, ensuring all teams (Account, Media, Content, Social Media) align under a unified vision.
Identify new trends, platform opportunities, and emerging tools to stay ahead in the dynamic digital landscape.
2. Team Management
Lead Account Management, Social Media, Media and Social Content; foster collaboration across teams, encourage knowledge sharing, and set clear KPIs and growth plans for each team.
Promote a high-performance culture with a focus on learning, creativity, and accountability.
3. Client Strategy & Growth
Act as the key strategic advisor for top-tier clients and internal stakeholders, provide strategic direction, marketing consultation, and performance reviews.
Work closely with the Business Development and Account teams to pitch new solutions, upsell services, and drive client retention.
Represent the marketing department in high-level client meetings and strategic discussions.
4. Campaign Innovation & Execution
Oversee campaign strategy and execution across all service lines: media buying, content creation, and social media planning.
Ensure performance marketing and creative teams work in sync to deliver measurable results (awareness, engagement, conversions).
5. Operational Excellence
Own marketing budgets, resource planning, and reporting across the department.
Implement processes and tools to streamline operations and improve team productivity.
Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to ensure ROI and continuous improvement.
Key Requirements:
8+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role at a marketing agency, MCN, ecommerce enabler, or digital-first brand.
Proven track record in Social Commerce, Content Marketing, and Performance Marketing.
Strong understanding of TikTok, Facebook, and emerging social platforms, including content, media buying, and creator ecosystems.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
Solid knowledge of campaign performance tracking, analytics, and ROI-driven marketing.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both Vietnamese and English.
Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation, creative storytelling, and consumer engagement.
Familiarity with Beauty, FMCG, or Lifestyle categories is a plus.
