Supply Chain and Operations Manager - PH

 
 

The Supply Chain Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing company's overall supply chain and logistics strategy and operations to maximize the process efficiency and deliver superior customer experience. He/she will lead the design, development, and implementation of warehouse, fulfilment, and logistics solutions. He/she is responsible for ensuring that supply chain set-up is productive, efficient, and cost-effective. He/she must be a proactive problem solver with a desire to collaborate with others and develop strategies for continuous improvement. He/she must be able to analyze data and processes, find creative solutions, generate reports, and present findings to upper management and other departments, communicate with external suppliers and buyers, comprehend legal documents, and developing lasting relationships with others. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy, including importation, warehousing, fulfilment, and last mile

  • Implement supply chain solutions including Warehouse Management Systems and Order Management Systems with internal teams and external vendors

  • Develop workflows and maintain standard operating procedures across internal teams and external partners; identify process bottlenecks and implement solutions in a timely manner

  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain

  • Provide recommendations and feedback for the development of in-house supply chain tech solutions

  • Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards

  • Manage overall supply chain costs while maintaining quality

  • Negotiate prices and terms with logistics suppliers and vendors (e.g., warehouses, freight forwarders)

  • Monitors the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identifies and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departments

  • Establish performance metrics for measurement; monitor daily operational performance and provide immediate solutions to issues that arise

  • Provide regular performance reports to management and cross-functional teams with clear recommendations for improvement

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in Supply Chain Operations, or a related field

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Capability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to conduct detailed procedures with a high level of execution

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong sense of time organization and urgency

  • Detail and process oriented

  • Able to work independently and within a team

  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
